Form services compared with Mailiy

Most form backends are based in the USA. For a website with visitors from the EU that means third-country transfers, standard contractual clauses and often no DPA. For each service you'll find where its servers are, what it costs and how to switch to Mailiy. We also say when the other service is the better fit.

As of 2 November 2026. Every figure comes from the providers' public pages, and each comparison page lists its sources.

How a switch works

With almost every service your form HTML stays as it is. You point the action address at the Mailiy endpoint and put your access key into a hidden field. Your field names stay, because Mailiy accepts every field with a name attribute. Control fields such as subject or redirect have a different name at each provider; the table on each comparison page lists them.

Mailiy can't import old submissions. Export them from your current service before you cancel. Let both services run side by side for a few days until the first real messages arrive through Mailiy, and remember webhooks or Zapier connections that you need to set up again.

Mailiy is free for one website with 100 submissions a month, so you can test the switch on a real form without paying anything.
